Let go of the MOTH

Today is a new day.  You have been refreshed by sleep and you no longer have to let the mistakes of the past control you.  In your mind, pretend that you have a moth in a jar.  That moth represents all of the shame and yuck from past mistakes.  Make a checklist of what you learned from your mistakes.  With each item, you turn the lid of the jar getting closer to letting the moth go.  When you complete the list and have named what you have learned the jar is open and the moth flies away.  You can let go of all the past yuck and move forward with a new outlook that mistakes are just opportunities to learn.
